Naftogaz India, a subsidiary of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, has commissioned two internal units for the six million tonnes per annum Bina refinery being set up by Bharat Oman Refinery Ltd, a joint venture between Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd & Oman Oil Company Ltd at Bina in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The Bina project includes crude oil import facilities and a cross country pipeline. The total cost of the project is estimated at Rs 11,397 crore (US$ 2.4 billion).
Naftogaz has commissioned a Rs 576 crore Hydrogen Generation Unit and a Rs 256 crore Coke Drum System Package unit on engineering, procurement & construction contract. The company completed EPC works on the coke drum system package unit of the project on January 29, 2011, while the hydrogen generation unit was commissioned in December last.
